My wife and I are the Student Pastors at our church, and we have been planning to have a lock-in for the students. I told her that the word “lock-in” is way overly used and that I think we should come up with a different name to set it apart from what everyone else is doing. So, after a while of brainstorming, we had a couple words we liked, but Unwind just sounded like the best option. Unwind is a time for the students to come… and just Unwind. It’s about forgetting everything that’s going on in life and for one night… have fun, play some games, fellowship with one another, eat A LOT of food and have some Jesus time.
