Getting wound up, a moment of annoyance or a simple ‘slight’ can only lead to one thing…offence.

These days it seems like there are plenty of opportunities to be offended. From the latest headline to social media comments, saying the wrong thing to a friend or a simple difference of opinion all lead to the ‘bear being poked’, and we either explode or shut ourselves off from the relationship. We can’t seem to help it and these small moments leave us hurt and feeling ‘miffed’.

These reactions seem natural and justified, but what if we decided to respond differently to offence?
